NSW: Three charged over violent robbery
Three men have been charged over the violent robbery of a Sydney brothel owner .. with
one of the trio plucked from a river by water police.
The men allegedly went into the Five Dock brothel just before two am (AEDT) this morning
.. assaulting the 52-year-old manager and leaving him with severe facial injuries.
Police say they stole his wallet and watch and tried to open the cash register .. before
running out a back door and driving away.
After a police pursuit .. their car reportedly crashed into a parked car at Chiswick.
Police say one of the men was arrested in a nearby park .. another was located with
the assistance of the Dog Unit and Polair .. while the third was plucked from the Parramatta
River by Water Police.
All three have been refused bail and are due to face Burwood Local Court tomorrow.
